In the Line of Fire

In the Line of Fire stars my favorite actor – Clint Eastwood.

In the Line of Fire is a 1993 movie starring Clint Eastwood, John Malkovich, and Rene Ruso.

It plays like so: A Secret Service agent played by Clint Eastwood couldn’t save JFK – but he’s determined not to let a clever assassin – played by John Malkovich – take out the sitting President.

If you haven’t been playing attention – I use Clint as the background on my logo – so you should how I feel about Clint.

By the way, I once bore a resemblance to Clint. In L.A. one day about 35 years ago, I was stopped and asked for my autograph – of course I signed it – didn’t want to disappoint Clint’s fan.

Like I said, the movie stars Clint Eastwood, John Malkovich, and Rene Ruso. Clint and Ruso are Secret Service agents assigned to take a bullet to save the President’s life if an assassination attempt occurs.

And Malkovich is trying to assassinate the President.

In their free time Clint and Ruso hook up.

Dylan McDermott and John Mahoney play supporting roles – McDermott is Clint’s sidekick – Mahoney plays Clint’s boss – not Frasier’s father.

As always, John Malkovich is an excellent, devious villain – and the showdown with Clint is a good one.

Warner Books published Born to Be Wild in 1992 & it still sells every day at Amazon & Kindle. True story about certain members of the Warlocks motorcycle gang.

The story takes 21 years to play out – with many twists & turns – an amalgam of Sons of Anarchy & Breaking Bad – but these outlaw bikers make the Sons look like Cub Scouts.
