Dexter

Dexter … fantastic concept … great plotting and writing.

Dexter

For at least the last year, or so, a lotta you folks out there suggested Dexter – and I did put it on my agenda to get to it someday. But yesterday my buddy Patricia Given lit a fire under my ass – seems Netflix is shit-canning Dexter as of December 30th.

So I watched several episodes last night – and several more right now.

The show’s incredible – great concept – fantastic plotting & writing – to turn a serial killer into a heroic figure.

Twists and turns – double-backs – and triple-backs.

Don’t know why I avoided it all these years – pretty sure it’s because I disliked the title Dexter.

Here’s how IMDB describes Dexter:

“By day, mild-mannered Dexter is a blood-spatter analyst for the Miami police. But at night, he is a serial killer who only targets other murderers.”

Don’t know anybody in the cast – top-billed are Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, & David Zayas.

Dexter was on for 8 seasons from 2006 thru 2013 – and IMDB is considering a limited Season 9 in 2021.

Thanks, everyone – thanks, Patti.

Here’s the trailer.

and I approve this message.

Warner Books published Born to Be Wild in 1992 & it still sells every day at Amazon & Kindle. True story about certain members of the Warlocks motorcycle gang.

The story takes 21 years to play out – with many twists & turns – an amalgam of Sons of Anarchy & Breaking Bad – but these outlaw bikers make the Sons look like Cub Scouts.
