Thanks to Harry Daniels for pointing out that the actor playing Papillon in the remake was the star of Sons of Anarchy.
I had no idea who he was, but his name’s Charlie Hunnam and he played Jackson “Jax” Teller in all 92 episodes of Sons of Anarchy.
By the way, Charlie’s a Brit – born in New Castle, England, on April 20, 1980 – makes him 41 at present. He has 20 acting credits – but I never really saw him in anything before.
Since I have a literary association with motorcycle gangs, one might think I devoured Sons of Anarchy – but no. I tried – but could only get thru 2 or 3 episodes. Love Peggy Bundy – but can’t stand slime-ball Ron Perlman – seeing his face turned me off to the series.
