Uncle Fester

Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad are my two favorite TV crime series, and the character Mike Ehrmantraut – played by Jonathan Banks – is a key player in both series.

One of my favorite sequences comes in Season 1, Episode 9 of Better Call Saul – titled “Pimento.” In that episode Mike gets a job offer to work as a bodyguard, but he encounters a schoolyard bully, figuratively speaking, who denigrates Mike by calling him “Uncle Fester.” Big mistake. That’s when the shit hits the fan. The sequence is below. It’s a little long, around 6 minutes, but a great sequence.
