A biker struggles to balance being a father and being involved in an outlaw motorcycle club.

SONS OF ANARCHY is my default pick on my list of six favorite TV Crime Shows.

Picked it because it’s a perfect tie-in to BORN TO BE WILD – & I need a sixth pick. Only watched a couple episodes, but wasn’t hooked. The SONS & their exploits paled in comparison to what I know about the Warlocks & Pagans motorcycle gangs.

The series never hooked me.

Plus, I was disappointed in three of the main characters.

Charlie Hunnam as Jackson “Jax” Teller failed to move me. His character never came across.

I love the multi-talented Katey Sagal. Many people don’t know she was a backup singer for around a dozen musical acts – Bob Dylan, Molly Hatchet, & Olivia Newton John – to name three. But I do. Unfortunately, I see Peg Bundy every time I look at her. For me, her mega success in MARRIED WITH CHILDREN doomed her in any other role.

In my opinion, anti-Trumper Ron Perlman is a Hollywood elitist scumbag. Refuse to watch anything with him in it.

Watched a couple episodes before calling it quits.

My opinion aside, SONS OF ANARCHY was a huge success for seven seasons.

The story took 21 years to play out – with many twists & turns – an amalgam of SONS OF ANARCHY & BREAKING BAD – but these outlaw bikers make the SONS look like Cub Scouts.
