Steve Piasecki crime-fiction series – with Steve Piasecki and sidekick My Friend aka Hit Man Bruno

SIU: Special Investigations Unit is an American crime podcast created by America’s Best Crime Writer Barry Bowe. It features true-crime and crime-fiction stories written by Barry Bowe, who was a Special Investigator on more than 100 true-murder cases in PA, NJ, DEL, MD, FLA, CAL, and the Caribbean islands of St. Thomas, St. Croix, and Puerto Rico.

Steve Piasecki is a fictional character created by Barry Bowe, based on his personal experiences before and after becoming a Special Investigator. The concept was inspired by Murder, She Wrote. But instead of a middle-aged, published author in New England, Steve is a 34-year-old aspiring mystery writer in Philadelphia who moonlights as an Uber driver while trying to get published.
