Saturday night – out at 7 – gas up – and off to Ridley for a white gal, mid-30 – played every sport in high school & college – just got back from Key West two hours ago – her friends tend bar down there so she never pays for a drink – gets home & friends invite her to Santino’s on MacDade – she hopes her liver can take it.
Right down MacDade to the T-Bar – maybe you know it at Tom & Jerry’s – mother & son – I thought they were a couple – she doesn’t look old enough to be his mother > going home to Ridley a couple miles away.
Pick up a gang of white gals in Ridley – 30s-50s – just finished a dinner party – one gal’s from Johnstown – she tells me I look just like her father – “He must be a handsome man,” is my reply.
Drop them between Crozer Hospital and Smedley Junior High in Chester – get flashbacks about Lew Krausse – he went to Smedley and I played baseball & basketball against Lew at Smedley – I learned trash-talking from him – still use it to this day.
Buncha short hops for a couple hours …
Then a buncha white gals at a lavish mansion in Newtown Square – gorgeous – dressed nice – not a chunk-monster in the group – went to high school together – now college girls at Penn State and Temple – and they’re going to a bar in the Gayborhood – my old neighborhood – don’t know how this happened, but suddenly we’re talking crime.
One girl brings up the Menendez Brothers – and she knows the case inside-out – second time somebody brought them up this week – I’ll hafta go back & refresh my mind.
Then down to South Street for a white gal, mid-20s – waitress – going home to Fairmount – nice ride.
Not far away for a black gal mid-20s – she’s an online poker dealer for MGM and FanDuel – drop her at studio on Spring Garden – right next to building where my Favorite Grandson lived 5 years ago – close to Community College.
Over to Eastern State Pen – 2 black gals – 20s – might be “Lebanese” if you catch my drift – they attended the Halloween shindig – I fill them in about Al Capone’s first incarceration there and Elmo Smith being the last person to sit on Old Sparky there.
And then she tells me they had electricity & running water at the Eastern State Pen before the White House – I didn’t know that.
A couple more rides and then a buncha white kids, 20s, from West Philly – near University City – and they’re going to the Heinz Wild Life Preserve on Lindbergh – going there to commune with nature & puff the weed.
The gate’s locked at the entrance – so they hafta walk the rest of the way.
It’s midnight & I’m close to home – stop to pick up Osborne Cox – like to give the pooch rides – then over to Taco Bell on MacDade for my weekly two bean burritos – and back home to wash them down with a Tecate.
