The opening sequence hooked me. Go a little farther. Hmm. Jason Bateman. I like him. Go a little further.

Wait a minute. Is that Frasier’s girlfriend Charlotte?

Or Richard Gere’s girlfriend Janet Venable in Primal Fear?

Both.

Laura Linney played Frasier’s girlfriend Charlotte in five episodes. Also played ball-busting Janet Venable in Primal Fear. Richard Gere’s adversary & former lover.

By the way, John Mahoney plays a cop, or the DA, forget which, in Primal Fear. Plays Frasier’s father Marty Crane in Frasier.
