Casting the 3 Gals

We already casted Steve Piasecki and his sidekick My Friend. Now let’s cast the stripper, Steve’s love interest, and the gal who creates the lover’s triangle.

Jade

Stripper name: Jade. Character name: Rita Forsythe.

Jade takes an Uber home from the Babes in Toyland strip club. Columbus Boulevard, Philadelphia. As it works out, Steve’s the Uber driver who picks her up. Transports her home to Media Station Apartments in Media.

She spills her guts during the 25-minute ride. All of which come into play. An assault on her. The Sinaloa drug cartel. And murder.

Based on her role as a stripper in The Wrestler, Marissa Tomei is my only pick. Love her in everything.

Btw, Jade is based on a stripper I picked up at Club Risque. Columbus Boulevard. Every word in the book came out of her mouth. Drove her home to Media Station Apartments. Without her, there’s no story.

Jessika with a K.

Jessika Kazlo. Art school grad. Works as a bartender on the Main Line. Great money. But new manager hires his girlfriend, fires her.

Her boyfriend ignores her problem. She’s pissed off. Decides to spend the night with her parents. In Phoenixville.

Calls for an Uber. Steve arrives. Listens to her problems. They bond. She insists on buying him a drink. Right then. Right there. They stop at the Black Horse Tavern. A couple drinks. Do the ultimate bonding after closing.

Like I said, Jennifer Anniston popped into my head first. Then I ran across Rachel Taylor. Lotta credits. Nothing I ever saw, but liked her look. And then I remember Yvonne Strahovski. Hannah McCay in Dexter. Seasons 7 and 8. Love at first sight for me.

Btw, one of my first rides ever took me to Rosemont. Six years ago. Picked up a girl, just got fired from her bartending job. Great money. Boyfriend ignored her problem. Drinking wine all day. Going to spend the night with her parents. In Phoenixville. She suggested taking the long way, thru Valley Forge Park.

I listened. We bonded. Took me to the Black Horse Tavern. A few drinks. Bonded in the parking lot after closing.

The “K” part comes from another rider who spells Jessika with a K.

Margo

Jess’s best friend. Drexel grad. Computer engineer at Comcast.

Jess throws a party. Invites Steve, to compare him with her boyfriend. Gets Margo to pretend to be Steve’s new girlfriend. By the end of the night, they’re not pretending.

Thought about Bridget Fonda, from Jackie Brown. But like Rachel Taylor’s look a little better. Pick her for Margo. But we remove the piercing from her nose.

Btw, Margo is a flashback from 40 years ago. Part of a lover’s triangle. Needed her to create complications between Steve and Jess. Nice fit.

So there are the 3 gals.

The drug cartel and murder are fabrications. Let’s call it creative genius. But based on real events.

Who’s Next?

Four players from the strip club. A bouncer, two dancers, and the manager. You should like these picks.

After that, CID gets involved.
