My favorite TV crime series – Bob Odenkirk, Rhea Seahorn, & Jonathan Banks star in the series. With plenty of help from Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, Michael McKean, & Giancarlo Esposito. I like it so much, you’ll find four references to the series in THE DEAD STRIPPER.
Great cast, great writing, great acting.
BETTER CALL SAUL is the backstory of BREAKING BAD. His real name is Jimmy McGill. A small-time hustler from Cicero, Illinois, he got in trouble for defecating through someone’s sunroof – someone “connected” – & gets charged as a sex offender.
His brother, big-time lawyer Charles McGill, flew in from Albuquerque to save Jimmy’s ass from going to prison.
Jimmy moved to Albuquerque and starting working in the mail room at his brother’s law firm Then, as they like to say in the series, he “bootstrapped” his way into earning a law degree through online courses.
He becomes a champion of low-income clients. An underdog whose morals and ambitions often clash. Someone who will look he other way when there’s a buck to be made.
