ALEX ROCCO

Here’s another name you might not recognize ─ Alex Rocco ─ but I can almost guarantee that you vividly remember his scene from The Godfather in 1972.

Alex Rocco accumulated 168 acting credits going all the way back to the Batman TV series in 1967, Get Smart, That Girl, Golden Girls, and a whole bunch of TV shows and movies for better than 50 years. He passed away in 2015.

As you just saw, he’s Moe Greene in The Godfather. Between that memorable scene from 1972 and the 1997 movie Get Shorty, twenty-five years passed ─ but there he is in a scene that’s pretty much identical ─ except for the T & A girls and the ending.

In case you forgot Moe Greene, he runs a hotel in Las Vegas. The Corleone family is moving its base of operations to Las Vegas and the family already sent Andrew Cuomo to Vegas ─ WHOOPS ─ I meant the family sent Fredo to Vegas.

Between you and me, never heard his name before yesterday.

  I’m America’s Best Crime Writer – Barry Bowe – & I approve this message.

My first book – Born to Be Wild – published in 1992 – & still selling on Amazon & Kindle. A true story about certain members of the Warlocks motorcycle gang.

The story took 21 years to play out – many twists & turns – an amalgam of Sons of Anarchy and Breaking Bad – but these outlaw bikers make the Sons look like Cub Scouts.
