Today, let’s take a quick look at the movie Get Shorty (1995).
Both written by my favorite crime writer Elmore Leonard.
Both with the same premise – but all the characters have different names.
IMDB describes the movie like so: “A mobster travels to Hollywood to collect a debt and discovers that the movie business is much the same as his current job.”
A fine, star-studded cast – John Travolta, Gene Hackman, Rene Russo, Danny DeVito, Dennis Farina, Delroy Lindo, and James Gandolfini four years before The Sopranos.
