Cold and dark like Anna McMahon’s heart is a reference to a character in Season 6 of Blacklist – one of my favorite crime series.
Cold and Dark
Like I said, cold and dark this morning in Philly, and start the day playing yo-yo.
5:15 – Pick up a regular in Glenoilden, black female, 50s – nurse going to Jefferson Hospital at 10th and Sansom in Center City – the GPS is acting crazy – tells me to go the long way 3 different times.
The Big Easy
Pick up a guy a couple blocks aWAY, 30s, white male from the Lehigh Valley – coming back out to the airport – flying to New Orleans – hyped me about how great “The Big Easy” was the whole time – people, food, & music.
Pick up a gal at Widener, black female, 20s – going back into the city – 30th Street Station – going to New York and running late.
Humming and singing the whole way – make it with 7 minutes to spare.
Now I’ve got a mother & child, black female, 20s, infant – going to North Philly just past Temple.
Three short rides take to Kensington – then a couple older gals, white females, one with an Elvis haircut – draw your own conclusion – very nice gals – going to a hospital on Roosevelt Blvd.
Decide to head home – catch 4 Destination rides that take me back home.
Feed the Cats
Go home – feed those cats – take a nap.
Go back out at 3 for curbside pickup at PetSmart – then grab 3 short rides out to Swarthmore and back to Piazza Honda in Springfield.
If the Anna McMahon reference flew over your head – check out Blacklist, Season 6 – or tomorrow’s CRIME PAY$ post about her.
